Workshop for Kindergarten and Grade 1 Teachers and Early Childhood Educators led by Joana Pavão Artistic Director, Teatro do Biombo (Portugal).
How can we use theatre and storytelling in early-years settings to engage young children? What are the real impact and benefits for the students?
In this theoretical and practical workshop, Joana will share her weekly experience in nurseries and kindergarten schools in Lisbon, through her project: Stories with Theatre. Educators will have the opportunity to see exclusive footage of classroom experience; receive tips on how to create interesting theatrical material through storytelling and participate in fun games and activities designed for very young children.
